Before & After: Honeydrop

Check out this redesign of Honeydrop Honey Tea.

"After two years on the market, Honeydrop realized it needed to simplify its messages. Its central brand concept – the only ready to drink brewed tea and juice sweetened solely with real honey – needed to be expressed in a way that connects with the natural beverage consumer, while differentiating within an overcrowded and fast growing natural beverage category."

"Honeydrop came to Monday Collective – a brand-design partnership that specializes in brand design ideas that are in touch with people and the world we live in – to help it make that connection. A new custom designed glass bottle gives Honeydrop a more natural and premium feel; a clear label allows for product transparency; a bee icon redesigned to have more character and look like real honey; a simple system for range differentiation; a back-of-pack designed with simple icons that make ingredients easy to identify; and new copy including “from the bee to the bottle”, sends a clear, unified message that Honeydrop is made with real honey. The result stands out on the shelves, is in touch with what its consumer is looking for, and is better able to make that all-powerful connection."

I like the "new custom designed glass bottle" but I don't think they realized it won't work in a P.E.T. bottle. That shape will collapse just right on the neck!
