Other than the use in the traditional letter press printing process, Wooden Type has become sort of a collectable item for some, and decorative motive for others in the design community. Inspired by the documentary Typeface, Brandon Alvarado, designed an assorted set of wood type for a class.

Visual elements were inspired by the history and visual culture of traditional Letterpress design. “
