Griotte is a brand with a long tradition. It is well-know for its sour cherries soaked in alcohol for months, which are then immersed in fresh fondant and cherry liqueur and wrapped in deluxe dark chocolate. With the redesign of the Griotte chocolate candies, the aim was to make them a premium product by pointing out the story of how they came to be in the first place; for that reason, the history of Griotte is written on the back side of the packaging.

Trijumf, Runolist and Badem are the traditional chocolates of Kras which marked our childhood or youth, so that today we remember them with a dose of nostalgia. They needed to be revived, while also keeping the characteristic ‘V’ shaped illustration on the front side. The main redesign characteristic is the retro style which accentuates the long tradition of Kras chocolates.

" Fontana is the popular desert brand with a specific combination of ‘ice’ peppermint filling and dark chocolate, and a rectangular praline shape. From the very beginning, the packaging has been characterized by the specific shade of ice-blue colour; the same colour was kept in the redesign which was conceptualized in the retro style, reminiscent of the times when the brand originally was developed."

In the Croatian market, Bajadera is one of the most famous chocolate candies with a very long tradition. It is the queen of all chocolate-boxes and one of the symbols of Kraš. The Bajadera chocolate candy is two-coloured which originally inspired the same two-coloured packaging design. Its radial pattern is very recognizable, which is why it had to be kept in the redesign together with the two colours, but in a more modern version.

Ronhill Unlimited is the new cigarette brand that for the first time in Croatia uses the QR code, on the back of its packaging, as an interactive design element. It enables users to access the mobile web page where they can find useful information, such as the interactive review of all events in the city or the search engine through which they can find out in which cafés in the neighbourhood smoking is allowed, together with other informative services.
