And now about the packaging:
“Naolab’s signature packaging is inspired by Origami and Majiang. Opening a Naolab package reveals elements of surprise – designed as a treat for yourself or for a gift-giving ritual. Carefully designed to provide intelligent protection for products, Naolab’s environmental awareness ensures that the least amount of materials, papers and inks are used at all times.”

Like many other Americans this year, I still had some holiday shopping to do today. In the midst of gifts, ribbons and wrapping paper today I came across a well-designed line of paper goods made of recycled materials.
Greenroom Eco products are available at Target and are mixed in among all holiday gift wrap and cards. The packaging for this line is minimal, highlighting the product itself. The subtle dark brown woodgrain background paired with the fresh green is the tip off that this is not your typical holiday greeting card or wrapping. Over all the design is very simple, but the message is clear and effective: this is a fashionable paper product made from recycled materials.
We focus a lot on commercial packaging, so we thought it'd be nice to a do a roundup of some of the beautiful, personal holiday packaging that's being created this season.
