"This butter cake is from a area called "Nanatsukahara" farm in Hiorshima pref., Japan. The place is known for its famous butter, and clients' comment on the product was "It looks like normal butter cake, but once you eat it, you can really taste the original buttery taste."

"So we approached the project with the concept of "Surprise and Sensational" butter cake from Nanatsukahara. We began with creating a brand symbol, "Nana" means "7" in Japanese and made that into an iconic symbol for their brand. Also wanted to communicate where the cake is coming from when purchased at different prefectures in Japan.

There fore, it looks like a "simple" confectionery box, but once you open it, there is a hint of surprise where the cake is made and coming from."
