Rip van Wafels

“I started this company out of my college dorm room at Brown University in 2009. I am originally from Holland and grew up eating these treats (Dutch caramel waffle cookies) at the market in Amsterdam.  When I got to school, I realized that my friends really liked them.  I started messing around with ingredients and eventually came up with my own recipe. After finding a small commercial kitchen that let me use their facilities after hours, I got to work and started supplying a few places around Providence. Earlier this year, I teamed up with a friend and current Brown student, Marco De Leon, and together we have started expanding on a much larger scale.  (see full story here).
