I don't think this is real. Apple has already released a new version of the Shuffle, and the Nano doesn't look real. Is there any verifiable proof to this?

Any idea what the casing is made of? Are they using an eastman co-polymer?

This is directly from Apple.

@Danny - this is from the keynote today.

Is plastic still a good idea nowadays?!?
Apart from that the packaging is attractive

I'm not a big fan of the varying depth they have between them, all though it makes sense..

Looks costly. Pretty though. The iPod Touch case looks like it would come in handy as a HSC while traveling. Why are the Shuffle and Nano boxes so much deeper though?

The shuffle boxes probably contain the special dock necessary to connect the device to your Mac/PC and a pair of white headphones. In the case of the nano it's probably the headphones and the 30-pin dock connector.

I don't think they can physcially make it any smaller. Good stuff.

No matter which way you place it, the logo or the product text will be upside-down. That is my only complaint.

don't be so dumb people, the shuffle and nano cases are not "deeper" ... the depths are the same, although they look wider because the boxes are smaller, (and not all 3 cases are part of the same shot/same perspective) the purpose of having the same depth is to keep the earphones and instructions in there

@alfredo - actually, uhm, you're the one being "dumb". they are physically deeper, because, as @Vishal pointed out, they need to contain the necessary hardware beyond just the shuffle/nano - and the smaller height/width means the depth needs to be compromised.

I don't understand what's so stunning about this? Isn't it pretty much identical to what the last generations of all these devices looked like?
