busy, long, informative copy on front - Uh, yeah. I'd say it's effective when you're trying to relate flavored water to medicine. And that's the position they want to take. The style is a contemporary take on apothecary tonics & elixirs of the past. I think the subtle improvements to the new design really do the brand justice.
@ Guss: If that's the position they plan to take, then the design makes sense. Too bad their "medicine" positioning wasn't stated. I'm really curious if their approach will work, as I'm sure it won't where I live. :)
I still hope they showed the back/sides as well, though, for better appreciation.
I immediately picked up on the visual reference to medicinal / pharmaceutical product packaging, but can appreciate the added refinements. Over all, this before & after is a very successful (though subtle) facelift. The cleaned up logo treatment and enforced consistency are just the kinds of things that Vitamin Well needed to be a strong contender in the market. Kudos.
