Handmade Soaps

This isn't a typical feature on The Dieline, but I really love the way these handmade soaps were creatively wrapped by Jessica of Angel Face Botanicals. She makes her own soaps and sells them on Etsy.com. I like her choice of colorful patterned papers which she wraps or overlays as bands of color on the bars of soap. The labels are probably printed on a laser printer, but that doesn't seem to detract from their overall beauty.

Thanks for featuring my soaps! Choosing the artisan papers for these was a fun process. My mom helped from afar and it was great working with her. We emailed swatches back & forth & had pow wow's over the phone. She's a visual artist, and an amazing painter. I wanted to find beautiful, unique designs which related to the scent & name of the soap, but also fit in with each other as a group.
I've very pleased with the outcome! "Wrapping Soap Day" is fun at the factory. It smells so good and the soaps are gorgeous before they're wrapped. Each bar turns out to be such a pretty little package. We all can't help but be happy:)
