Is this brand for real or for the show only? Nice bottle shapes :-)

Why Tequila Avion? I do not like the name at all. I know that avion in english is airplane. But still I don't like it. No future for this tequila. Design wise there is no new idea here. Sorry.

Not only is it real, it's delicious. I know it's available in NYC and I've had the Reposado and Silver. Very tasty and smooth. One of them (can't recall which) is 100% agave - not like other tequilas so it is a unique taste.

Package is good; product is over-hyped.

person who says they don't like the name is nutty. do you like the name Nike, Google, Coke, etc. . the stuff is flying off the shelves and people love this product and the hype is amazing and about time patron has a real competitor. we all know don julio is dead and 1800 and others are junky brands. do you like the name cuervo or 1800 by cuervo. come on.

Way too much outlining of the fonts. And it's been done badly. The negative spaces should be adjusted to maintain a visually consistent stroke density. At least raise or lower the acute accent in AVIÓN to avoid that double stroke density. And outlining the script font is just wrong. Shameful typography from supposed packaging masters.

Cuervo is the #1 selling brand of tequila in the world.
However, most tequilas marketed as 100% agave are really 'mixto' tequila which means they only contain 51% of 100% agave.
Another important point about tequila; it can only be considered as true tequila if it's made in Jalisco. And if it's true tequila made in Jalisco then it has a NOM number, which is Norma Oficial Mexicana given about by the Tequila Regulatory Council certifying it as true tequila....Avion does not have a NOM number on its bottle.

"they only contain 51% of 100% agave." Huh? If it says 100% agave that is exactly what it is. A spirit has to contain 51% agave to be called tequila (see Cuervo Gold). And by the way their NOM is 1416, Productos Finos distillery which is a distillery with a reputation of producing some great tequilas. Also, tequila can be produced in portions of several areas surrounding Jalisco, it is up to the tequila council to decide if the spirit can be classified as a tequila. Man I hate it when people try to sound so smart and have no idea what they are talking about.

Patron and Don Julio are still King. Talk about buying into the marketing. Come on man, get out of the house. You can sit two bottles of Patron from two different batches next to each other and they will taste noticeably different because they buy the agave on the open market and make the tequila in several different distilleries.
