Hi. I am a tequila aficionado from Mexico and also I have my own design and marketing studio. My profesional and personal opinion is that this tequila has no future, the name and the bottle is again with the same shape as most of tequilas. I do not know the taste because I haven't tasted it so I can´t talk about that. But only by the image I will not buy it. Sorry guys better luck next time.
Well done guys, great concept and design! I have a complete different opinion from the previous post. The name itself is quite fresh and different from their competitors and the 3 bottle-package is just an excellent idea to take it home and taste the flavored Tequila. Looking forward to see it on the shelf :)
@ The Dieline I suspect the brand name should be written Mala Fé not Malafé
@ Martin Ford You say ... " the bottle is again with the same shape as most of tequilas " Really!? Could you please name one other brand of tequila that uses the same shape bottle?
The design is a bit dodgy and the logotype could be toned down a little, but I rather like that somewhat vernacular aesthetic. It has a naive charm that gives the product added authenticity and suggests a taste of genuine Mexican tequila. And that makes a change from the typical homogenised slickness of global brands. I wonder if that was an intentional design decision? If these tequilas were on a UK supermarket shelf I would probably choose them over one of the usual suspects.

PS: Love the wooden cork caps.
