Vintage Packaging: Edgeworth Tobacco Tin

1

Despite it's wear over the years, the vibrant colors and hand-drawn lettering on this tin are as exquisite as ever. I love the unexpected harmony between 4 different typefaces being used in a 3 inch space. Full tin below.

"it's" should be "its"

it's = it isits = possessive

otherwise, nice vintage find.

There are four if you count the logo as a typeface, I guess.

If you really want to be picky about this, these are not 'typefaces' in the true sense of the word at all. They are just different styles of lettering.

My mom stored her sewing needles in these tins. The tin was this exact one and in a very similar condition. The very same brand. This was quite the nostalgia-bomb of a post. I'm going to ask if she still has them in that tin. I also remember an old-school 'Natinoal Biscuit Company' tin as well.. Thanks for the post!

Does the layout remind anyone else of a Ouija board?
