Student Spotlight: Noté

1
Corinne Pant is a student at UQAM in Montreal.  She came up with this awesome packaging design for earbuds. Check them out below.

"Noté is an extremely simple and ecological solution for packaging headphones. The headphones are wrapped around a single piece of cardboard, requiring neither glue nor plastic."
Corinne Pant Note

Very cool.

Corinne, you do need some plastic. Customer handling would destroy this product in a flash without it. Plastic strip and tape would secure the wires to the card fending off shoplifters and a poly bag would keep the buds sanitary.

Think about how you shop. How much do you touch a product while considering a purchase? Are you deterred when the package is even slightly marred?

Agree with Spiracles...

I really like the concept and the looks of the packaging, but if I was a customer, I wouldn't touch buy it. Consider about the hygiene of the product

Here's a question: is the hygiene of the product more important to you than the overall environmental impact, which is surely cut by avoiding the use of 'unneeded' plastic here.
