Vintage Packaging: U.S. Aqua Pure Drinking Water
I stumbled across this amazing vintage packaging, a case of U.S. Aqua Pure Drinking Water. Water in a can! Designed in the 1950's during the height of the nuclear age, the can is "impervious to nuclear fallout." Great stuff, check it out below!
La Estrella 125th Anniversary
"To celebrate the 125th anniversary of Cafés La Estrella we decided to pay homage to the first container that Don José Gómez Tejedor created in 1877. The idea was to reinterpret the original design from a more modern perspective, but based on its fundamental characteristics. We were inspired by the gravure style of the first packaging, and with the invaluable help of illustrator Abraham Menéndez, built a tribute to those 125 years using elements of the history of our coffee and our country."
Johan & Nyström Tea Packaging
Garbergs Project wanted to challenge the typical ecological, clean, Scandinavian designs. They asked themselves 'Does ecological necessarily have to mean boring?'
"Without loosing style, we wanted to feed colours and playfulness into the concept. That’s why the tea-boxes are inspired by children’s playing blocks using initials from the actual product’s main ingredient/feature, allowing poetry writing on your kitchen shelf."
