Designed by Wink Design, Victoria Amory is a food, home, and style brand focusing on effortless and elegant entertaining. The overlapping V and A form the logo or monogram, for the brand and are used in a variety of colors. The initial products developed for the brand are a line of condiments. The packaging for this was created to be bold, simple, and recognizable. Easy to see on the grocery store shelves and aisles.
The Empanada Kitchen released a line of sauces as a subcategory of the products in their brand. They asked makebardo to develop the brand identity and packaging for the products that were both entirely new to the range but also needed to keep the brand consistent. Using The Empanada Kitchen’s philosophy of “Simple Things Done Well,” their four sauces have a bold, confident character.
One Love Organics
"This product line is truly unique. It is the only waterless skin care line in the US. Three of the products are made by hand and the cleanser is made in small batches exclusively for One Love Organics. All of this allows the line to be extremely high quality, pure, effective, and 100% natural. The minimal packaging (there are no secondary boxes) and in depth educational information on the website reflect the values of the company. Hand written product names and hand drawn patterns suggest the effects of each product and highlight the crafted, artisanal quality of the line. Whimsical names and humorous descriptions bring a unique voice to the brand and reflect the belief that happiness is the foundation of true beauty."
Lots more after the jump.
Nola's Mexican Style Salsa
"NOLA'S is a local startup fresh foods company. MDG was tasked with creating an original brand image & identity for NOLA'S. Our client had a vision, "Think June Cleaver meets a Vargas pin-up." That in mind, we worked with illustrator Mark Stutzman to craft the face of the brand, the lovely Ms. Nola. From there, we created an original logo mark and packaging concept and NOLA'S Fresh Foods was off."
