Kaffe

1 2 3

Designed by Felix Lobelius:

"Kaffe is a
coffee shop started by 4 swedes. The handwritten charcoal aesthetic
derives from the personal connection every person has with their type
of coffee. This is reflected in a direct style of communication with
business cards, bags, take away cups ect. personally adressing the
customer."

that is because this project is probably an exploration that the designer worked on. I live on Campbell Street right next to Reservoir street and there is no such thing as Kaffe coffee shop... sadly... cause I love this branding :)

Really dig this, as someone who works at a coffeeshop and frequents them as well, I really would appreciate the obvious and extra effort to stand out in their enthusiastic nod to design and their aesthetics. As Yael said I am very curious to know how the interior of a Kaffe Haus would look like. I imagine a lot of blackboard walls...with blackboard tables that you can write on. Ooooooh...the possibilities are endless with this design! Especially printed pieces with so many finishes that would simulate blackboard or a chalk writable surface.

I was getting tired of all the "talking packaging" that's out there, but this is quite refreshing. And the bag actually even serves a purpose *for* the store as walking advertisement.

absolutely love it, very smart. it really grabs me and i will certainly remember it. people will actually spend the time reading it, than just a regular bag with logo and address on this. People would want to keep them at home. i really wish they're moving forward with this and have the actual shop, because just like everybody else, interior of the shop will be very interesting.

I have a feeling he designed this when he was still studying, because 10 Reservoir St doesn't exist? It starts at 12 I think.. Great design though.

Hi all, the actual store doesn't actually exist (maria was right that he designed it while he was still studying, because he was my classmate)
