Heide Honey

This beautiful take on a honey jar for Heide Museum of Modern Art was designed by Australian studio, Pidgeon (the designers behind  recently featured Preshajuice). I was so taken by this particular design of theirs that I felt it deserved its own post. Honey has this amazing quality of looking gorgeous in any container you put it in. The warm, amber color seems to glow from within. Pidgeon built on the honeycomb theme with a custom-built typeface called Hex. A transparent label with a fine hexagonal pattern spells out ‘heide honey’. We’ve featured some other great honey designs in the past (Bee Raw, Stanley Honey, Waitrose and a cool concept by littlefury) , and this one is worthy of joining the ranks of ‘honey made beautiful’. It really makes me wish for a honey client!
