Fruit Juice Packaging by Naoto Fukasawa

I found this write up at toxel.com - Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa has created a series of creative fruit juice packages.

“I imagined that if the surface of the package imitated the color and
texture of the fruit skin, then the object would reproduce the feeling
of the real skin.”

I am a huge fan of the banana fruit juice pack, I believe this to be one of closest contenders to the simplicity of the jif lemon design that is now so famous! I would also love to see the Kiwi and Strawberry juice in the flesh as I have never come across these before and they are just as intriguing!

shouldn't packaging design be really boring and lackluster though... in a way?

That's pretty neat. I haven't seen those before. My guess is they are pretty expensive.

These would be great if they could make them cheap enough to mass produce. Are any of these on the market, or are they still in the prototype phase?

That was an excellent idea of packaging. In your aim to promote naturalism, its great way to package them in the natural way. Thanks for sharing the this wonderful idea.
