Monocle x CDG Candle One: Hinoki

Monocle has joined Comme des Garçons again, to now launch a candle based on the Hinoki personal fragrance:

The 01 icon and fonts have carried over from the fragrance identity - the all black vessel and simple white art makes this very attractive me (for men) and a better look than the fragrance package.

not sure i like the treatment of the 01makes me think of the word 'oi'

I was just about to leave the same comment. That was the first thing I thought to myself, why does it say, "oi oi".

Why make the 1 heavier than the 0? And why not remove the top right serif of the 1 so it's less like an i? Strange.
