Hitachino Nest Beer

I spotted this fun beer packaging by Kiuchi brewery over on NotCot. From the comments I've read, apparently it can be found in Whole Foods stores and tends to be pretty pricey but delicious.

It's lovely packaging.

The White Ale, though, has an aftertaste worse than the juices of rotting human and pig corpses. It's awful.

This is by far my favorite brand of beer. The White Rice Ale is quite good.

Yes, and at ~$3.50 per bottle, you'd expect them to taste a little better. Beautiful packaging, though.

One of the best beers made in the world today. Comparing them to anything "rotting" is likely coming from someone who enjoys a cold Miller Chill.

Surprisingly difficult to find in Tokyo, but very common in NYC. The ginger beer is something truly special.

The BF likes the few different ones that he has tried. I saw them a few months ago and picked some up for him. He's the beer drinker, I'm the label enthusiast. You can also find them at Trader Joe's. Or at least you can in Chicago.
