Viña Amalia

Just when you thought all wine bottle design had gone to the future comes a bit of the classical style via Viña Amalia. The family-owned Argentine vineyard has been working with Estudio Clara Ezcurra on the design of their many varieties.
The designs feature a floral pattern across the line, with disciplined serif typography and the occasional use of gold foil lettering.

The final example in the series is decidedly modern in comparison. According to designer María Olascoaga, "For the Viña Amalia Reservado we designed a vertical label that retains the classical spirit of the brand with new looks, with a luxurious dark printed silk paper, and a small extra label."The Blanc de Noir sparkling wine was previous featured on the site back in June 2009.
