Seed packets, designed in-house by Raj Kottamasu at the Freshkills Park project in New York City. These packets will be given away to those attending the free, public bus tours of the Freshkills Park site. The seeds, indigenous to the NYC Metro area, were collected by the Greenbelt Native Plant Center and are the same species that will be used in the restoration of the former landfill site. (Coincidentally, Raj is profiled in today’s NY Times.)
