This is the patented alarm clock
that runs away and hides to get you out of bed. Clocky will jump off
your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide,
beeping all the while. You’ll have to get out of bed to silence his
alarm. Clocky is kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up
at the right time.
This cute alarm clock is create
by Gauri Nanda when she was a graduate student at the MIT Media Lab.
The Clocky alarm clock evolved out of Gauri’s own need for an alarm
clock that wouldn’t let her snooze repeatedly. She created a prototype
for a class project and a flurry of unexpected attention by the press
ensued.
The renewed packaging design
is by Mayuko Hari (mayukohari.com) who is the New York-based graphic
and packaging designer, and graduate in Packaging design at the Fashion
Institute of Technology. She has served some high-end cosmetics companies
then became a freelance designer.
Nanda was looking for a packaging
designer who understands her concept and has sense of modern design.
