Green & Black's and Peter Blake

Green & Black’s, (whose chocolate packaging has been featured more than once on the dieline) has done a modest packaging refresh.

They’ve reversed the brown and accent color areas of the packs so that what was once mainly brown with an accent color is now the other way round.

To promote the more color-dominant packaging, they’ve commissioned Peter Blake to make this artwork of their new packaging in a mosaic-like arrangement. (They’re also holding a contest for a additional mosaic designs.)

No stranger to consumer packaged goods, Blake has also done work for Coca Cola, Lucky Brand, Cains Beer and others. As one of the original British Pop Artists, of course, he also draws on packaging in his work for the “fine art” market.
