Therapy Vineyards

Therapy

"What do you see in this wine? We see a client who was brave enough to follow a different path.

Naramalta Development had a splendid challenge for Brandever - a new winery located on the prestigious Naramata Bench. The hub for some 16 of the nation’s finest wineries. Naramalta required a memorable, magnetic brand identity. An identity that would break through the clutter. An identity that could grow with this winery’s ultra premium ambition.

We recommended Therapy. Therapy Vineyards. A truly unique place that is good for the soul. Each bottle features a distinctive inkblot design, based on the famous Rorschach Inkblot Test.

And, in true psycho-analytical form, the back labels ask the consumer what they see in the wine, rather than telling them what they are about to taste. Therapy Vineyards has won major Design Awards in the United States and Canada, and numerous press mentions worldwide for the cleverness of this branding concept."

Funny idea for brand. The ink blot idea also makes sense since in that it does resemble an abstract wine stain. And although I know that might sound like a negative--(spilled wine staining your white table cloth)--it doesn't awaken any particularly strong consumer anxiety in ME... so I'm thinking this is a good (and not at all crazy) idea.

This wine wouldn't stay on the shelves where I live, now you can't even find it. I think this was a great branding. For what it's worth, it's probably the best Canadian wine I've ever had as well.
