Samuel Adams Barrel Room Collection

 

The Boston Brewing Company, makers of Samuel Adams, have debuted a new collection of beers entitled the Barrel Room Collection. The collection features newly-designed packaging from Boston-based Adam&Co.

While the collection initially contains only three varieties, Samuel Adams plans to introduce more in time. Therefore, the challenge set for Adam&Co was in how to design packaging that could be extended to a range of products, and tie together all of them in a series.

The solution is in a color-based branding system, with bands around the neck of each bottle and panels on the main label. The mostly-monochrome packaging artwork is a departure from Samuel Adams's usual style, but appropriate for the limited edition of 750 mL "cork finished" bottles.

Surrau Winery

 

"The labels are designed to convey an individual idea of each wine, but at the same time they can be seen to form part of a broader range of products. Clab Comunicazione has overseen and perfected the entire corporate image of the new Surrau winery, making sure that the style of the labels is consistent with global company communication. 

The graphic form of all the labels is based on the concept of the territorial identity of these wines as products of Sardinia. Like the logo, the labels too express the idea of the sea, the earth, and the sun of Gallura. And it is the special characteristics of these territorial elements that gave the wines their unique structure, fragrance, and sensory characteristics.  

The labels are particularly carefully styled in order to reflect the medium-high market position of these wines. Embossing on the labels enhances their visual impact even further.

Special transparent braille-effect (relief) varnishes, screen printing and silver foil have been used. The chromatic juxtapositions are truly innovative in this sector, but fully consistent with the type and quality of each wine."

Evoid Drinks

Evoid Drinks has just launched their new line of low calories Juice Drinks and Sodas in the UK. The lineup is  schools compliant and offers parents and local authorities an alternative to traditional colas:

"Not impressed by drinking additives and loads of sugar? We looked at the drinks available for young people in schools and on the high street, and were totally dismayed at the chemical cocktails contained in the household names and brands, many of which contained 10% or less fruit juice. We know that you aren't impressed either by drinking something that's really bad for you - so Evoid was created with love, care and passion."

Bloomsberry & Co Biscuits

    

"Bloomsberry & Co to grow their companies product range they decided to introduce Bloomsberry biscuits into the UK market. They were after fresh approach to the ordinary English biscuits that people in the UK keep in their top drawers. Part of the Bloomsberry brand idea is that the packaging design and humor is more important than the biscuits, they take it for granted that their biscuits are high-end quality products. Here's what Out of blue came up with to establish that important dialogue with the consumers."
