Menos es Mas is a new drink from Coca-Cola for Spain, designed by Saffron Brand Consultants. Illustrations by Andrew Bannecker:
“Menos es Más”(less is more in Spanish) is a drink that stands for
what it is. No bs here (pardon our French). It doesn’t make you taller,
or thinner, or more attractive, it’s just a drink! But it is a little
easier on your wallet and the environment, and don’t we all want more
of that?
Saffron worked with Coca-Cola Spain to create a joyful expression for this mighty little drink.

xroads Philippine Sea Salts are packaged in what I think is the most unique sustainable packaging ever. I contacted Lennie DiCarlo, the owner of the company about her packaging. The story, as Lennie tells it, is that she was looking to bring this unique natural sea salt from the Philippines into the US. She wanted the packaging to be easy on the environment. We all know sustainable packaging is a challenge to source, so Lennie was pretty excited when she discovered that the perfect packaging was made from a renewable source right in the same region as the salts are harvested.
I had the opportunity to taste the salts - and they are the best I've ever tried. If you appreciate specialty salt, these are incredible! (You can buy them on the xroads website.)

"The matching set “Dolci emozioni” (sweet emotions, t.n.) offers an entire catalogue of cakes and biscuits in a minimal stylish packaging, whose essential approach is enriched by the yielding shape of the fonts.
The graphic layout is emphasized through the use of a laminated paper, easy on the hands, making the optic white of the boxes even brighter.
The brilliance of the surface is crossed by the dark transverse words: fonts are embellished by the glossy finish of a special synthetic paint, which provides the colour with a chocolate-like texture."

Coca-Cola was kind enough to send in photos of their latest product launch, Vio Vibrance Drink: a blend of skim milk, sparkling water, natural fruit flavor, and pure cane sugar. One of Coca-Cola's clever copyrighters claims it tastes like "like a birthday party for a polar bear."

What a beautiful and refreshing way to package fresh fruit!
"
Ferroconcrete was asked to develop the brand for éple, a sophisticated new fruit store located at the Los Angeles Third and Fairfax Farmer's Market. We named the store, packaged the products and created the tagline House of Decadent Fruit. The name eple was inspired by the first fruit temptation in the Garden of Eden. The brand represents the company's belief that fruit can be decadent, and that a little indulgence is good for you. Our goal was to elevate fruit to a new level with packaging that's comparable to fine chocolates."

New work from Here Design and The Futurelab:
"This was a hypothetical project to redesign Yardley that we worked on in collaboration with The Futurelab. The intention with the design was to revisit Yardley's glory days in
the 1920s and 30s, when it moved with the times and started trends
rather than followed them – it was an aspirational, innovative and
sensual brand.
We chose to revive and
continue Yardley's original design philosophy with innovative Corian
and glass packaging structures, a clean and elegant brand marque and
use of original British textile designs."
Such an improvement over Yardley's current packaging! More images after the jump.
