Manhattan Milk

Manhattan Milk brings old-fashioned milk delivery to Manhattan residents. It's a great idea for busy people. The milk is 100% certified organic, which is great. They also offer a few other basic dairy products like yogurt and cheese from Pennsylvania Dutch country. If you live near NYC, check to see if they deliver to your area.

The bottles are based on original old-fashioned glass milk delivery bottles. I really like the cute cow illustration and mostly unadorned bottle.

For some reason, I was just thinking yesterday about how (when I was little kid) we used to have a milkman who brought milk in those kind of bottles. And how the paper closures felt when you opened them.

I finally got around to order some products from manhattan Milk this week.Such amazing bottle... I had to buy it.

But to my surprise, today I got the products... And the bottle doesn't look AT ALL like the one they show on their website (and pictured here).

And to makes matter worse, When I e-mailed them saying I was disappointed about it, Frank Acosta answers me:"Sorry fabio but we are more interested. In our quality and service than a computer image on file I am sorry that you feel that way and hope you still entrust in our products"

Tsc, tsc tsc... Bad bad Manhattan milk...

Such a pitty. I had such a good image of the company.

I love milk! You know when we are in province my uncle Biboy always delivered fresh milk in our house. It is so delicious. Even here in Manila my uncle keeps delivering fresh milk for us.
