MMMM, Music! – CD packaging is still good.

The advent of media sources like iTunes, Netflix and the like have
created a wider gap for the legitimacy of packaging design for products
such as music CDs and video DVDs. It seems to me that the music industry
trails in terms of design innovation that addresses a changing
market. For this reason, I’m constantly looking to find solutions that
validate the design of tangible products that the true fan will
appreciate and invest in. Enter The Simpson’s Movie Soundtrack, a
limited edition set fashioned after Homer’s favorite treat. The cake
like box holds this sugar glazed soundtrack produced by Adrenaline Music Group. All in all, a sweet and simple way of recreating an oftentimes stale product.
