Designed by Brett Layton of Australia based BrainCELLS:
"Rare Earth Wines select the best parcels of fruit from wineries in Australia and New Zealand to make their wines. Their constant search for 'rare earth' for 'rare wine', ensures that each variety is the very best from that region. The hand-picked icon was chosen to represent the brand on a label that is minimal and understated."
Do you have a passion for packaging and want to share that with the world? We are looking to add a few new bloggers to the site! If you are interested simply email us here and we will let you know all the details!
Earlier this year 1800® Tequila launched a campaign featuring nine cutting-edge artists. Each piece of artwork is featured on 1800® limited edition tequila bottles, all of which can be purchased.
Each artists' style is unique, representing various designs, mediums and perspectives. The nine artists featured in this limited edition production are: Dosa Kim (Atlanta, GA), Glenn Barr (Detroit, MI), Artillery (Chicago, IL), Chris Dean (Detroit, MI), Jorge Alderete (Mexico City, ME), Josh Ellingson (San Francisco, CA), Hannah Stouffer (San Francisco, CA), Jeremy Bacharach (Chicago, IL).
The bottles are great collectibles - whether you decide to drink the contents or not!

I just wanted to give everyone an update with whats going on with The Dieline! We continue to grow and grow at a very rapid pace, and add more fantastic readers to the site by the second. We are now in the top 25,000 of all websites online, which is really incredible. The Dieline has quickly grown into the most visited website on package design in the world, and has become the voice of the industry. I want to personally say thank you to every one of you for stopping by day in and day out, and for making The Dieline what it is today!
Now on to the news:
Call For Entires: Don't forget that the deadline for entries for The Dieline's first book is coming up on Nov 30th! Thanks to everyone who have submitted their work already!
Package Design Agency Directory: Just updated! This has launched to a huge success, thank you to every agency who has contacted us to be added. Special thanks to our premium listing agencies for supporting the site!
Watermarks: As some of you may have noticed (we hope not!) we have unfortunately had to start watermarking some of our images. It pains me to do so, but several copy-cat blogs have popped up and begun "borrowing" our exclusive content that we work so hard to bring you. They have done so without even crediting The Dieline's efforts. One of these copycats is even trying to capitalize on our success by calling themselves "The leading source for the very best that package design has to offer", which we all know is is not the truth :-)
Comments: You may have noticed our commenting system has been upgraded, allowing you to set up a profile through TypePad Connect and have your image appear next to your comment. You can also reply directly to someone's comment, subscribe to the comment feed, and be emailed when someone replys to your comment. Very cool!
That is it for now. Thanks again!

Extremely innovative new packaging from Brandimage, who was responsible for everything including concept development, branding, prototyping, engineering, and product design. The 360 Paper Bottle is the first of its kind in the world, and a true environmentally-friendly solution to the problem of plastic water bottles:
CHALLENGE
Each day, Americans throw out 60 million plastic bottles. Only 14% actually get recycled—
meaning 86% become garbage or litter. We looked at this as a radical problem requiring an
equally radical solution. Could we design a container that would leverage sustainability, be
easy to transport, and enhance the consumer’s drinking experience?
SOLUTION
The 360 Paper Bottle is a sustainable vision of the future. It is the first totally recyclable
paper container made from 100% renewable resources. Versatile in its range of consumer
applications and made from food-safe and fully recyclable materials, it decreases energy
consumed throughout the product life cycle without sacrificing functionality. It is paper
packaging that stands up to all liquid categories.
Nice work Brandimage!
