It is hard to tell from the pictures ... could be plastic, could be plastic-corrugated.
The box has a hinge lid and a pull out drawer containing information on the shoe.

Not your every day shoe box.

that is a MASSIVE shoe box. wonder how much of the price point of the shoes is driven by the box. they should have put straps on it so you can wear it around like a backpack while you wear the shoes. sneaker collecting is all about showing them off anyway.

The shoe box is cool; the shoes themselves... kinda hideous. I'm also not sure I see the color tie-in that well, but maybe the shoes come in other colors so the rainbow-y box/logo makes more sense.
