Mari's New York

I've discovered luxurious packaging from Mari's New York - maker of gourmet brownies. It's no accident that the packaging is so gorgeous - founder Mari Tuttle went to school at Parsons, worked for Smart Design, has won numerous design awards and was design director for Cynthia Rowley's line for Target before getting into the pastry world and founding Mari's. It sure helps your own branding when you've got a background in design yourself.

Note the attention to detail that makes the packaging feel luxurious. For instance - grosgrain ribbon printed with the logo and delicate detailing, spare yet 'ownable' palette of coral and white, sheer glassine sleeve and overall aesthetic balance.
