J A P A N !

I popped over there a little while ago, and packed my suitcase FULL of all the packaging over there. The supermarket isles are an utterly uncomprehendible sea of little faces, eyes, grins all looking at you! Its really split between chaotic very character-full visually packed branding, to the other extreme: elegant, refined, minimal. Its a fascinating place design-wise. Appologies for no credits and crap scanning, its the best I can do! See loads more after the jump...

Love the flowery biscuit packaging. And I've had those noodles, they are delicious!

i have the bunny matches! i LOVE the packaging over there <3

i appreciate for those pictures even just scanning.
btw, second packaging with five different flavors are not food.
they are instant hot spring powder packagings. please dont eat them.lol

I adore the bunny matches. I could never bring myself to use them though.

I love the caramel corn puffs! They are so addicting.

Those matches are so cute. They must be expensive though, if the have to print little faces on the match heads! I love the Japanese candy. It's tasty and the packaging is really interesting. I wonder what inspires the characters to be in everything...

japanese packages are fantastic!
i cut and compose with them as notebooks covers.

I have never gone to Japan but I got to eat some of those dried noodles. I wish someone would send me some of those candies and matches.

i simply adore japanese packaging. it makes u so want to own it! i've got that hiyoko little sponge cakes too! i get them everytime i return to japan for that annual therapy of creativity and sights! simply delicious.
japan's not just lovely in packages but also do take note of their carrier paper bags and plastic bags.. i keep most of them!
