Delicious H2O

Asset_upload_file204_5236_2

Delicious H2O is water from Mount Rainier in Washington state. This is a high end water, which is apparent from its wine-bottle-like packaging. Delicious H2O was launched in 2007.

New York International Gift Fair 2008

We'll be attending Gift Fair this Saturday and (following Andrew's lead) I thought I'd mention it in advance in case any other Dieline contributors might also be planning to attend. (It would be nice to actually meet some fellow Dieliners, face to face!)

Not saying I'll match Andrew’s awesome coverage of the Fancy Foods Show, but I'm looking forward to the chance of covering some product categories close to my heart, such as “Home Textiles” and “Personal Accessories.” I understand there are also good things to see in “Extracts” packaging.

Root: 1 Wine

Rootwine_6

I'm such a sucker for wine labels. I love all the different personalities, shapes, illustrations, etc. I can actually spend hours in a wine shop just looking at the labels. In fact, I buy wine based on the label design. Sad, but true.

Turner Duckworth has designed a smart, and beautiful label for Root: 1 Wine. The wine is made from the original ungrafted Cabernet Sauvignon rootstock... extinct in Europe, and found only in Chile. The label celebrates this fact in both design and story. The root, the vines, and the hint of a glass is just lovely.

Innocent rPET Packaging Expands Limited Edition Label Design Unveiled

Greenlogo

Popular UK juice brand Innocent has expanded its use of 100% rPET packaging following a successful test run that began in September.   The brand will now use its 100% rPET bottles for their entire line of smoothie drinks.

To commemorate the success and expansion of its rPET packaging Innocent has developed a limited edition label that will appear in the UK for two weeks in February.  The label features a re-working of Innocent's brand image to resemble the green recycling triangle logo.
